BLS AND HEARTSAVER INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

In the AHA BLS Instructor course candidates will be taught how to teach the American Heart Association programs using the latest updated Instructor material and course videos. After attending the course instructors will be able to present the BLS, Heartsaver First Aid programs and Family and Friends.

Who can attend the AHA Instructor course:
– Anyone with a passion for teaching the American Heart Association programs
– A person wanting to become part of the AHA Instructor network
– Preferably being a Healthcare Provider to present the BLS course

How do you become an Instructor:
– Attend a BLS Provider program
– Complete the BLS Instructor Essentials course in your own time following this link

– Attend the one day classroom BLS Instructor course
– Pass the written exam during the classroom course
– Successfully be monitored teaching a BLS provider course within 3 months of completing the BLS classroom Instructor Course.
– Be accepted by an AHA Training Center as an Instructor
